The aim of this journal is to disseminate Islamic research conducted by academics and researchers focusing on the fields of Qur’anic Exegesis, or Tafsir, and Prophetic Hadith. This journal focuses on studies in the fields of tafsir, hadith, ushuluddin, and contemporary issues related to these three major themes.

Darul Hikmah Scientific Journal accepts written contributions in the form of articles, research reports, and book reviews. The content of each manuscript is the responsibility of the author. We invite researchers and academics to contribute to this journal in accordance with the themes mentioned above.

Darul Hikmah: Jurnal Penelitian Hadits dan Tafsir (E-ISSN 2964-3449) has been awarded New Accreditation, Rank 4 (Sinta 4) based on Decree of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek) Number 862/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026, effective from Volume 10, Number 1 (2024) through Volume 14, Number 2 (2028).

This issue compiles scholarly articles exploring contemporary discourses in Quranic and Hadith studies, with a primary focus on the dialectic between classical texts and the challenges of modernity. The scope of research encompasses the integration of maqasid al-shariah in modern transaction law (muamalah), the epistemology of Hadith transmission in the digital era, epistemological boundaries and interpretive authority amid artificial intelligence disruption, critical analyses of contemporary fatwa outputs (MUI), and scientific-textual approaches to natural phenomena. This publication offers methodological renewals for scholars in re-reading Islamic heritage to ensure its ongoing contextual relevance and problem-solving capacity.
