Writing Guidelines
Acceptable manuscripts are recommended to meet the following general criteria:
The article can make a valuable contribution to the development of written da'wah, especially in the fields of hadith and tafsir. The methodology used is clear and explained in detail so that other researchers and academics can continue related research. The conclusions are supported by data, and the manuscript is concise, well-written, and understandable.
ARTICLE FORMAT
Manuscripts must be uploaded to the OJS system using Word (docx) format and arranged in a standard format: Title, Author(s), Address and Email Address, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgements, and References. It should be typed on one side of A4 paper, in a single column, 1.15 line spacing, Times New Roman 12 font, and numbered. Margins on all four sides should be 2.54 cm.
ARTICLE TITLE
The article title should be concise and informative. Avoid abbreviations whenever possible. It should be written clearly and concisely, describing the content of the research.
AUTHORS
The article's authorship consists of the main author and co-authors, written in full (without abbreviations and titles), clearly stating the institution's address and email address.
ABSTRACT
The abstract appears after the title page of the manuscript. It summarizes the introduction and aims, methods, results, conclusions, and recommendations. The abstract should be written as a single paragraph without headers and references. Non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if essential, they should be defined at the first mention in the abstract. The abstract should be 200 to 250 words and should include a maximum of five keywords.
KEYWORDS
Keywords should avoid general terms and ambiguous plurals. Do not use words or terms in the title as keywords. These keywords will be used for indexing purposes. Keywords should not exceed five words or phrases in alphabetical order.
INTRODUCTION
The introduction should include the research background, context, gaps, and aims. The introduction should be presented in paragraph form, comprising 15-20% of the total length of the article. The opening paragraph should explain the current state of the research, positioning it within the existing framework. Subsequent paragraphs should highlight research gaps (limitations in previous research) and the novelty of the research conducted by the authors. This novelty should be clearly stated. The concluding paragraph should outline the purpose of the research. Proper citation format should be followed, with a comma after the author's last name, as in (Chabrak & Craig, 2013; Cyan et al., 2016; Lehman, 2014). If citing from the Qur'an, the format is (Qur'an, 2008, 2:195). As for citations from hadith, the format follows (Bukhari, p. 88, Hadith No. 27). At least 80% of the cited sources should come from publications within the last ten years. The sources cited should primarily be high-impact journal articles (strongly recommended), books, and research reports, including theses and dissertations. Journal citations should constitute at least 80% of the total cited references. In-text citations should be formatted using parentheses (last name and year of publication).
RESEARCH METHODS
This section describes the research methods used, including the research design, data sources, data collection techniques, and data analysis methods. The explanation should be clear and detailed to ensure the reproducibility of the study. If applicable, this section should also include the sample selection criteria, measurement instruments, and analytical tools used. The methods should be written in 400 to 800 words.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Present the findings and discussion based on the analysis described in the Research Methodology section. The Results and Discussion sections should not be separated (authors are not permitted to use "Results" and "Discussion" as subheadings). This section contains a description of the data analysis results to answer the research questions and their significance, interpreted using relevant theories and recent references in the field. This section should comprise 40-60% of the total length of the article. If figures are included, the units of measurement used must follow the applicable international system. All figures and tables are captioned and subject to editing by the editor.
CONCLUSION
The conclusion should explain the answer to the research objectives or the findings obtained. It should not contain repetitions of research results and discussions, but should instead simplify the research results and findings as expected in the research objectives or hypotheses in the form of arguments.
